Aborted Cop was started after Why Won't You Die broke up by Tony Avila in May of 2019. Tony had about 5 songs ready when Matt Captain joined on drums. Soon after than Paul Calhoun joined on bass and vocals. Around September of 2019 Zach Hartman from Why Won't You Die joined on drums.

In January of 2020 Aborted Cop relased their 1st demo on Bandcamp from when Matt was still drumming, 7 songs in 7 minutes. The band spent the rest of the down time from COVID-19 writing and perfecting their craft. The band have a brand new full length coming soon with 17 songs in roughly 15 minutes. The front cover design is coming from Raphael Gabrio from Insane Visions who's work with bands like Napalm Death, Kreator, Hatebreed, Rancid, Midnight, Behmoth, Misery Index and many others. Should have this record out by election time, later this year.

Beyond that, Aborted Cop has a handful of brand new songs for the next output.
